We Believe

We believe the Holy Scriptures, comprised of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the verbally inspired Word of God inerrant in the original writings, and are the final authority for faith and life.

We believe in one God, who eternally exists in three persons — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe each person in the Godhead possesses the same nature, attributes and perfections.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the second Person of the Trinity, who became man by the miracle of the virgin birth, without any essential change in His divine Person, to reveal God and redeem sinful man.

We believe that man was the direct creation of God and was created in the image of God for fellowship with God. We believe that as a result of Adam’s disobedience, all men are sinners, alienated from God, under the condemnation and wrath of God, and are hopelessly lost apart from salvation in Jesus Christ.

We believe God has provided salvation for fallen man by His grace through personal faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Each person who receives Christ becomes a child of God, indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, and is secure forever.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ and is comprised of all true believers of this present age. We believe Christians are to gather together into local assemblies for worship, prayer, fellowship, instruction in the Scriptures and observance of the ordinances of water baptism by immersion, and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the pre-tribulation and premillennial return of Jesus Christ; and in His subsequent return to establish His Millennial Kingdom followed by the eternal state with believers enjoying eternal bliss and the unsaved suffering eternal punishment.
